The Butterfly Defect (O defeito borboleta)

The Butterfly Defect is a piece of work Esthe Mefille signed long time back under the pseudonym 'Benjamin'. No one really knows the reasons behind such decision, but rumor has it that it was supposed to star in the figurative art collection "The PaperMoon Diaries". Some critics believe that this piece of watercolor sketch was never intended to be shown to the public, some others say that this pseudonym freed Esthe Mefille to release more alternative pieces of work just like this one. The renowned UK artist Bankshy, not the one from Bristol but the one from Nottingham, spent weeks with Esthe Mefille when he was going through one of his utmost epic creative turmoils and classified this work as "a complaint against coughs, colds and rashes... of the soul".

Green Ghosts, Fantasmas Verdes

Short description: Green Ghosts is so far the most accomplished and remarkable collage by Eshtte Mefille. A Winning (Art Festival of Bonhgko - 1998) piece of art that reinstated Eshtte Mefille as probably the world leader in the art subarea of collages. Green Ghosts can be seen as the Monty Python of collages out there and has been tremendously appraised for its depth, allure, enticing balance and predisposition for a happy nothingness. Produced with paint dust over glue, this arithmetic choice of lines display an insurgence of ghosts from a pink soil, as they scream.

Rabo-de-Peixe, Fish Tail

Title: "Rabo-de-Peixe" (in English, Fish Tail)

Short description: Fish Tail is the first commercial work by Eshtte Mefille after the incredible success accomplished with his debut oil paint collection "fy dyfroedd torrodd" in 2013. The young British artist with strong Iberian roots reinvents himself with the artwork that opens his new exhibit starring in London later this year. The painting is an attempt to enclose the dynamics of this Portuguese Civil Parish in the municipality of Ribeira Grande, Azores, Portugal. Eshtte Mefille visited this peculiar area twice during the promotion of his inaugural oil paints collection and considered himself mesmerised by the authenticity of the villagers. The mores, the idiosyncrasies and the fish tail itself are present within the soul of this painting.
