Not much can be said about Eshtte Mefille that the whole world doesn't know by now. This young artist born in England from Iberian parents revolutionised the art world with new-wave paintings and a hard to ignore brush frightfulness.

His first collection "fy dyfroedd torrodd" obtained from critics enormous appraisal and was acclaimed by the Cheshishire Art News to be "The avant-gard pile of dreams".

Abstract Land (Terra Abstracta)

Short description: If you find a piece of land that demands from you a subservient behaviour and you respond with aversion against inequity, you will have Abstract Land. The resulting Anarchy (in black) against the despotic arrogance (in orange) midst a neutral existence (in yellow) make of this painting one of the Primal moments of Esthe Mefille's long repertoire. Unbearable, too good to be true, tremendously insightful.

Measles Fish (Peixe Sarampo)

The celebration of the cure against measles was a fact distinguished with art by Esthe Mefille back in... who knows, only Carbon 14 can tell. Few had so far the capacity of embracing a disease and report it as a painting like Esthe. The warrior vaccination spat against the paper, feverish water colours tracking the progress of the star disease from fading red to a violent soaking. Critics always asked themselves - "Why a fish?". Ethylmercury, a substance used in vaccines against measles, can also be found in the environment in some kind of fish. The original of this painting is supposed to have been painted with Ethylmercury. Only Esthe Mefille to come up with such logic of communion between these incredible and intriguing  facts.
