Eshtte Mefille's Biography

Not much can be said about Eshtte Mefille that the whole world doesn't know by now. This young artist born in England from Iberian parents revolutionised the art world with new-wave paintings and a hard to ignore brush frightfulness.

His first collection "fy dyfroedd torrodd" obtained from critics enormous appraisal and was acclaimed by the Cheshishire Art News to be "The avant-gard pile of dreams".

This blog, TintaShop, wishes to celebrate his talent and allow the world to look deeper into his art or get it for a fair trade price. Eshtte Mefille is not only a great painter, but also a mysterious one.

!Tango

Short description: Mefille is known to be a very silent artist and very rarely speaks about his work. But with !Tango the artist came out of his shell in a long interview used only to describe the motto behind the painting. We are hereby quoting a brief moment of such interview where Eshtthe Mefille says "I imagined Minnie Mouse all depressed after finding that her lifelong love Mickey had been fooling around with some crazy ho-hos from the 50's movie cast Sunset Boulevard. She did not like it and as Mickey returns home Minnie beats the hell out of the adulterous rodent spanking him with the very same bouquet of roses he had given her the night before. I painted it whilst listening to La revancha del tango, a Gotan Project's song... It is amusing to imagine that this was the bloody revenge of Minnie as there are many other silent Minnies in our world who cannot rise their roses high".

Electricity

Short description: No comments were ever made available in regards to this painting. Nonetheless, critics suppose that represents the creation of mankind by means of electricity. Can you spot the chest, head and arms? Unfortunately this masterpiece was stolen from Eshtthe Mefille's catalog long time back and has not yet been found by the authorities.

Borda, the pumpkin clown - Borda, o palhaco abobora

Short description: Eshtthe Mefille is a very successful artist but his past productions for cinema are marked by intense frustration. Asked from Dreamworks to produce a clown figure that would be the symbol of a whole cartoon series to debut on Fox Movies with around 12 episodes, Mefille created Borda. Borda was just a sweet sentimental and mildly hypochondriac orange clown head that refused to wear his red nose on his nose. Instead, Borda decided that to avoid respiratory diseases it would be better to wear his nose... exactly, on his chin! Dreamworks rejected the sketch but paid the artist five American dollars for his efforts.

Lemon rafts on an ocean of blue and sand, Jangadas de limao num oceano de azul e areia

Short description: This piece of art was offered to Trent Reznor (vocalist and leader of the american industrial rock band nin - Nine Inch Nails). Surprisingly Reznor never commented on this gift and thus we cannot state more than it looks really cool, like a Lemon meringue dessert.

Spanish Escudero I and II, Escudeiro Espanhol I e II

Short description: Two paintings representing the process of bloody and messy colonization by the Spanish conquistadors. The first one works the thematic of getting there and occupying (easily understood from the overlapping colours) where the second describes the exit with sparse remaining influence still seen in the modern days. Obviously the two predominant colours are red and yellow as in the contemporary Spanish flag.

Initial price: £3255 (for the first)

Availability: On bidding (the first one) whereas the second one has been stolen (still under investigation)

Blaugrana

Short descritpion: No one has ever provided with an explanation to the explicit or implicit meaning of "Blaugrana", one of the most recognised pieces of the Collage Collection. Eshtthe Mefille has never actually spoken publicly about it and only a few have tried to analyse its perfection. "Blaugrana" is possibly a mere deconstruction of the colours of Barcelona F.C., but could also be a rhetorical and slightly abstract opinion on Cataluna (a region of Spain 'fighting' for independence). The only comment made so far by the artist on this incredible collage was a kind of poetic descriptive approach when saying "From the glass of my window I see two laid aside, a dot and a vast world that once traveled by boat together but want to travel together no more".

Tailor swift flower

Short description: This is a trick for the mind and a very interesting story indeed. Friends of Mefille state that minutes before an exhibition  in Toronto, Canada, one of the star collages prepared for the event fell to pieces. The said collage fell right on top of a burning candle placed alongside many others in the venue to create an ambiance of intimacy. Three of the petals got burned and a very quick thinking artist had to make a tough call. Eshtte Mefille was having a sip of wine with the singer Taylor Swift and her fashion adviser when Mefille asked the gentleman for his yellow tie. He cut three pieces of it and remade the previously burned flowers creating one of the most iconic pieces of the Collage Collection.

Boo!

Short description: When invited to create a character for a Disney movie Eshtte Mefille reacted quite violently by saying "I am a Dreamworks fiend"! Nevertheless, contractual obligations that also protected the artist's creative freedom forced him to deliver, by post, what is known as a mockery doodle. Boo!, as Mefille wanted to name the character ghost to star in a series of 5 movies, has never made it to the screens, but the episode involving the controversial artist and Disney lawyers had immediately generated a lot of laughter. Boo! is now part of the collection of creations Mefille produced for the big screen, a collection named Reel Feel of 4 degrees.

Hands over feet, Mãos sobre os pés

Short description: Hands over feet is the painting that critics say inspired Alanis Morissette create her Jagged Little Pill's song "Head over feet". Eshthe Mefille has supposedly met the artist for a brief Caramel Latte in a cold Winter morning as any other morning in Canada, and the artist' spell influenced her tremendously. Alanis sings in her song about meeting Eshtte Mefille for the very first time and the magical exchange of ideas with the painter as she shouts "You've already won me over in spite of me, And don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet". Curious to know that rumour has it Alanis tripped on her own purse and really fell on the ground, however and contrarily to the lyrics, it was hands over feet rather than full face blow.

Orange squash, Sumo de laranja espremida

Short description: We don't always see such aggressiveness becoming beauty all of a sudden. With the artwork that granted Estthe Meffille his first award - The veut être awards for independent young artists - he portrayed the many different exterior human conflicts with eloquent parables. The blue transitioning to dark orange through a cheesy melt of rainbows of a magnificent interpretation of the human stupidity, fragility and candor.

The chemistry of things, A quimica das coisas

Short description: No one really understands why the universe of forms and shapes is so rudimentary envisioned by physicists and  researchers of the occult. Nevertheless, in this painting, Estthe Meffille really impressed the visitors of his very last exhibition tour with a mild combination of two techniques - shape over form and form over shadow. Both camouflaged under a net of mismatched assumptions and a bit of bitterness also. Outstanding work from a very promising young artist.

White rose on a lake, Rosa branca no lago

Short description: Already considered by art experts and all sorts of specialists in the area, a marvelous piece of romantic fait-diver, "White rose on a lake" is believed to have made a young female teenager cry to despair when debuting in the Seattle Art Museum. It happened on the day of its first exhibition as part of the "Toddlers and Parafernalia Collection" exhibit initially planned for San Francisco, but due to its grandiose success, taken everywhere. White rose on a lake is above all an impressive statement of nostalgia of the never found love, without compromise with sadness or depression. Just a missing feeling of something never had, consumed, enjoyed. Esthe Mefille, also known as Estthe Mefille or simply Mefille, spits with this painting the joi-de-vivre of a lover towards the never found feeling of love.

Sub-Saharan Mist, Névoa Sub-Sariana

Short description: After a year long seeking reconciliation with brush and mindset, Estthe Mefille got back to painting with the inaugural frame "Sub-Saharan Myst". The painting is an incredible portrait of an afternoon sand storm when Esthe Mefille served in the Royal Army as Clinical consultant. Not much is known about his role in the forces, but the forces of the nature and the Tuscan sun rays are clearly internalised, expelled and gutted in this astonishing painting. With Sub-Saharan Myst, Esthe Mefille showed all the potential that was to come with the "Toddlers and Parafernalia Collection", still exhibiting all over the world.
